Now included and installed with each of Synthesoft's screen savers is a visualization plugin for Microsoft's Windows Media Player. This plugin, called SynthWAMP, allows you to run Synthesoft's WinAmp Visualization plugin in a window from within Windows Media Player 7. It can also allow you to run other windowed WinAmp visualizations under Windows Media Player 7. However, we only provide technical support for issues relating to the use of our own visualization plugins. The use of 3rd party plugins is strictly at your own risk.

Release notes:

Due to architectural restrictions, SynthWAMP differs from other Windows Media Player visualizations in that it does not display its visuals within the Media Player window. Instead, the visualizations will appear in a new window which can be moved independently from the Windows Media Player window.

Sound synchronization will only occur when the plugin is running in windowed mode. If the plugin is run in full-screen mode, synchronization will not occur.

The use of SynthWAMP with 3rd party plugins, while functional, is not supported by Synthesoft. Use 3rd party plugins at your own risk .
